In this week's message, Josh Kesler looks at the importance of God's word in the life of a disciple. Reading the Bible is not a check list item for people who call themselves Christians, reading the Bible is an internal desire of a disciple of Jesus Christ to know him better by reading what he said.
The word of God is not a dead history book filled with stories, facts and figures, do’s and don’ts. It is living and active in a very supernatural way. When you read the Bible, its kind of scary because while you are reading the Bible, it is actually reading you. “Scripture” judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 |
