Frontline Ministry is a group of volunteer leaders who serve as greeters, ushers, hospitality coordinators, and parking lot attendants on Sundays and during special events. If you're looking to get involved at The Well and meet new people, we'd love for you to join this ministry. Check out the different job descriptions below and contact Pastor Bill with any questions!
Greeters Volunteers are located at both main outside entrances ready to open doors and greet people as they arrive church. It is not uncommon that these volunteers are also equipped with umbrellas on a rainy day to help others in from inclement weather. Once inside, more volunteers will be stationed at the sanctuary doors to distribute bulletins. All greeters are encouraged to arrive at 9:20 a.m. for a brief time of prayer. By 9:30 a.m., all greeters are at their respective areas.
Hospitality Coordinators Hospitality Coordinators make the coffee, set out the rolls, and welcome everyone with a smile. They are stationed in the kitchen before service and help foster a time of fellowship for new and regular attendees. All Hospitality coordinators are encouraged to arrive by 9:15am so that they are ready to serve by 9:30am.
Lead Ushers Lead ushers are located near both sanctuary doors and are prepared to assist people in finding open seating. These ushers remain at the back of the sanctuary and will also help collect the offering. All lead ushers are encouraged to arrive at 9:20 a.m. for a brief time of prayer. By 9:30 a.m., all lead ushers are at their respective areas.
Offering Ushers Offering ushers assist in collecting the offering on Sunday mornings. These volunteers can remain in their seats until it is time for the offering. All offering ushers are encouraged to arrive at 9:20 a.m. for a brief time of prayer.
