Epiphany: What are we meant to see in Jesus' baptism? - Message from 1-12-14 - Kent Eilers, PhD.

1/13/2014

In the church year, this is the season in which we focus on God's revelation through Christ. Throughout the life of Christ and throughout our lives today, God makes himself known (ephiphany). This season trains us to be attentive for the ways God reveals himself to us. Today is the Sunday in which we celebrate Christ's baptism and ask the question, "What does Matthew want us to see in Christ's baptism?"
