Follow Me...Still 4/14/13 Message

4/17/2013

In this message, Josh Kesler looks at the important invitation that Jesus gives us to follow him.  In the text, we see that Jesus extends himself once again to Peter after His resurrection.  The first time Jesus said put down your nets and follow me.  In this case Jesus challenges Peter to take up his cross and follow.  Following implies movement.  If you are a follower of Jesus then it means that you are following him to greater levels of obedience.  It is an invitation, one we all need to take very seriously.

If you are a follower of Jesus, then you are indeed a person who's a follower of great obedience. From that saying, we can see how of a different person we are if we are following Him. If you feel like he is inviting you to be that person He wants you to be, have the courage and be kind. Follow what He wants for you, because most probably that could be the best thing for you.
