This week Pastor Josh begins a series in our Rooted theme on Doctrine. When there is a lack of doctrinal depth in a church, you get communities of people who are culturally Christian because they know what to do but lack spiritual depth. When we have a better understanding of the whole of scripture rather than just any given section at any given time, we will better be able to apply complete truths to our lives. The task of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) is not limited to reaching the lost but in also teaching the truth.
