Blessings in a Backpack

Blessings in a Backpack currently provides weekend meals for over 200 students each week in 6 out of the 7 elementaries in Huntington County. Each of these students served qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch. This program runs solely on donations and has asked local churches and organizations to partner with them to run a food drive, which will help cut down the cost to provide these meals.

The Well will be collecting Mini Cereal Boxes to help with this food Drive. Our goal is to collect around 704 boxes. They are sold in packages of 8 (and are sold for less than $3), so this equates to 88 packages of 8 boxes!

If you would like to help with the food drive, we will be collecting from November 1st- December 13th. There will be a plastic tub placed in the common area, in which they can be placed.
